My little brother was supposed to have two extractions done today so that he could get his braces put on. After about an hour, the “dentist” comes out, I put dentist in quotes because I now have serious doubts, and she said, “There was a problem. I need to talk to you in my office.” Not a good sign. Then she had me close the door. Apparently, if we are to go by her story, as she was attempting to extract one of the teeth, a tooth behind it came out due to weak bone structure. She was like, oh, not to worry. I put back in like an implant or as if he had it knocked out. Mind, you, Spanish is her first language. I have never heard of a tooth reattaching itself. And if she had been trying to get out the right tooth when this happened, then that tooth would have been loose or extracted and it appeared as if it never had been touched. Needless to say, I am livid. My brother might now have lost a tooth permanently that he shouldn’t have and now this pushes back his braces indefinitely.

I believe she took the wrong tooth out and she is trying to cover her tracks.

I am not judging that dentist but this happens sometimes and two teeth come out while extraction but the reasons are different .it can be dentist`s fault or many other reasons . when something like this happens the best thing to do is to put back the wrong tooth in its place that is called Replant ( If i am not wrong ) and it has a very high percent of success and in many cases the tooth goes back to its normal position easily although the tissue around it is damaged… and of course there is a possibilty of losing that tooth … you have to wait and patient have to be followed.

about legal problems i dont know anything but for sure it will take a very long time for you to get the result against that dentist … in my opinion first thing to do is to wait an see what happens to that tooth…
