Okay, So my name is Brooke. I’m thirteen, and female. I have a best friend, her name is Dasha, she’s fifteen and female (also she’s Russian if that makes any difference). I really like her a lot, and have for 11 months now. Thing is, I think that she likes me too. There are many things she does, however if I write them all this question would be way too long to read. So my main focus is yesterdays field trip.

So yesterday, we had a field trip to Tallahassee, and she was unusually touchy. She kept on putting her arm around mine, and when we sat together we’d be very close, and she kept on hanging on to me. Through out the field trip, she would stare at me, and I would look at her and she would just gaze into my eyes, until I looked away. This happened frequently. But the best part was on the way back. It was dark in the bus, night-time and she was tired. So she put her sweatshirt on my lap and lay down on my stomach, and when she did, she would just lay there gazing into my eyes, and then I put some music on and she shut them and fell asleep on my lap for like 10 minutes. She then woke up, and did it some more. I would look over to see her looking at me like shes day dreaming and just hold the eye contact until I finally look away. She then turned to her side, with her knees touching mine, and I did the same, and she would just sit there, and stare into my eyes and smile. She then talked about how she wanted to be a superstar when she grows up and I said “thought you wanted to be a dentist?” and she said “I do, but a famous dentist” and then put her arms out and put her face down onto me for a few minutes. She gives me long hugs..and treats me differently than anyone else. She put some of her stuff into my bag, and said “I love you so much Brooke” I made a lot of moves on her, I touched her a lot, and was very close to her. We cuddled on the bus, and she touched me a lot too. Whether she was giving me a massage, or putting her arm on my head while I was sleeping on her lap, or giving me long hugs, or leaning back onto me and staring me in the eye with such a soft look, and she also got really close to my face at times, and our legs often touched, and her legs were pointed in my direction.

Whenever I bring up gay anything she gets quiet and acts a little different sometimes. I told her that someone told me it was cool to be bisexual if you were a girl. She then grined and said to me “so, it’s cool to have a girlfriend? ”

Well, it definitely sounds to me like she likes you. You should bring up the sexuality subject. You could be like, “What do you think about homosexuality/bisexuality?” and see what her reaction is. If she is for it, you could probably ease into the conversation by asking her if she would ever be interested in girls, but make sure to tell her she doesn’t have to answer anything that makes her uncomfortable. Just see what she says. If she likes the idea, I’d go ahead and tell her you have some interest in her and see what she says. Good luck.
