Product Description |
Dentistry is one of the greatest professions in the world. It’s also one of the most misunderstood. Fred Joyal, the expert in dental consumer marketing, reveals how every single thing you say and do in your practice communicates a message to your patients. Everything is Marketing takes you step by step through your business, showing how little changes can have a big impact. Want to attract new patients? Convert more calls into appointments? Increase your case acceptance? Marketing can make it happen. The first step is learning to recognize that you have the power to transform your patients’ health, happiness and quality of life, then infusing that belief into everything—including your office, your team, your advertising and your chairside conversations. Drawing from over two decades of industry experience, Fred shares insight on topics like: • Why dentistry’s unique business model is such a huge advantage • How to create an unexpected and unforgettable patient experience • Why patients leave your practice—and how you can keep them for life • Proven ways to boost patient loyalty and word of mouth • Secrets to building a strong (and happy) team that your patients will fall in love with Fred’s approach to marketing is practical, straightforward and easy to put into action today. It’s an unbeatable strategy for capturing the hearts and minds of patients and experiencing explosive practice growth.

WOW Book
|
| Review Date: August 15, 2009 |
| Reviewer: Ron Cooper, Beverly Hills, CA |
| A down to earth book that adresses the real world of dentistry. It discusses how to treat patients and how to increase production mainly using your existing facility and staff. Too many books/lectures would increase overhead in order to increase production and also increase stress for most dentists. This is useful information, and stimuaates the creative thinking process within. |
The Best Book Written Ever on Dental Marketing
|
| Review Date: July 24, 2009 |
| Reviewer: Naveen Samuel, Riverside, CA USA |
If you do not own a copy of the book and CD, get them now. I got both the book and the CD so that I can read the book at night and listen to the CD while I'm driving to work. I have read a lot of marketing books, but nothing compares to reading a marketing book written by someone who truly understands the dental profession. Fred has more than 20 years of experience helping dentists become more successful.
I really appreciate how Fred creates a strategy to help dentists realize where they are now with their office and how they can achieve their goals. I have already implemented a few of his marketing tips, and plan on adding more in a timely manner.
Thanks Fred. Can't wait for the book #2.

The Real Deal in Dental Practice Marketing
|
| Review Date: July 4, 2009 |
| Reviewer: Michael Ventriello, New Jersey |
This book is a conversational distillation of the experience, insight and knowledge of Fred Joyal, the marketing maven who grew 1-800-DENTIST from an innovative business concept to a household name.
In "Everything is Marketing: The Ultimate Strategy for Dental Practice Growth", Fred Joyal strips away the veil of mystery surrounding dental practice marketing by emphasizing common sense tactics that do not require a huge advertizing budget.
In fact, Fred deftly points out the difference between advertising and general marketing and also exposes the most common disconnects between dental practice advertising and consumer perception and the actual patient experience.
In other words, it's less about the size of your advertising budget and more about knowing consumer behavior, managing patient expectations and providing great customer service in order to schedule those first appointments, keep those patients coming back and getting them to be your biggest advocates for referrals.
Here are some key areas that Mr. Joyal covers:
* Why the business of dentistry is unique - even when compared to other health care professions.
* Why dentists should position themselves as "lifestyle enhancers" and how to achieve that.
* Understanding human nature/consumer behavior and how ignoring it can lead to failure.
* Building customer loyalty and understanding why customers leave
* Converting emergencies into long term patients.
* Transforming your office into marketing environment. With special attention given to the handling of phone calls.
* Common sense ways to implement and evaluate your advertising programs.
If you are a dentist, this book comes at a perfect time. For less than the cost of week's worth of lattes, you can be transforming your practice by bringing it to a whole new level of employee performance, patient satisfaction and profitability.
