2nd Question: Does it hurt getting my braces off?
3rd Question: How does the dentist “sand” the stuff or polish the stuff. What does he do? Sand, polish? whattt?
Question 4, the MOST MAJOR QUESTION I HAVE: Before i got braces, when i smiled you could not see my gums (on my top set of teeth) but now, with my braces on, when i smile, you can see alot of my gums, is it because of my braces (btw, i had a buck teeth before braces) is this problem i have, going to go away?? Hello, I just got mine off like a week ago… so I’ll answer these the best I can (:
1.) I personally, had no spots on my teeth. I don’t think most people do. I have friends that got theirs off recently & I never saw spots on their teeth.
2.) It didn’t hurt at all (:
3.) At my ortho they just sanded all the glue off which took like 10 minutes & it was kind of annoying. Not painful, just obnoxious.
& 4.) I’m not sure about this, but I would assume that if you can see your gums now, you most likely will after they’re off as well.
Hope I helped, goodluck (:

Braces can be embarrassing for anybody that needs to wear them. They are more commonly known to be worn by teenagers and can be the cause of misjudgement of a person. We tend to always consider our healthcare options when we move to a new place, but finding a dentist is never something high on the list of priorities. When you are young, you tend to get taken along to the dentist every so often with a parent. You don’t have to think about it, book the appointment or worry about payment. When you get older however that hand holding disappears and it becomes your responsibility to take care of your teeth and visit the dentist. This is the reason so many people don’t visit a dentist for years on end. Gone are the days of regular check ups that work to prevent any problems. Instead, people seem to go only when there is a serious problem such as toothache that cannot be tolerated anymore.

Looking for a dentist isn’t actually a difficult or time consuming task. The majority of people would benefit from adding it to the list of the things to do, straight after “organise doctor.” That way any emergencies can be taken care of easily and regular check ups can resume. So, how do you go about finding a dentist? The first thing to consider is whether you are looking for a dentist with a particular speciality. If you or a member of your family have or are likely to need braces in the future for example, you may need to find a dentist (or orthodontist) that specialises in this. If you are considering some cosmetic work done in the future then it makes sense to visit a dentist who has these capabilities. If you simply want a good value dentist who can provide regular check ups and you don’t anticipate needing extensive work any time soon, then this is the type you should seek out.

The location of the dentist is another important consideration to make. If you are looking for a family dentist whom you will make a trip to see just once a year then you can afford to look in a relatively large area around your home. If on the other hand you are needing a dentist because you or a member of your family needs considerable work doing then you will need to find one close by your home or close by your work. You may need to consider whether you will have to take time off work to visit the dentist. If so, finding one as close as possible to your place of work is the best idea. If you won’t be driving then you need to locate one with good transport links. Failing to think about these lifestyle factors could result in trips to the dentist becoming a time consuming chore that really interferes with your life.

It is a good idea to ask friends, family and work colleagues about their dentists when you are looking for one of your own. Recommendations are a great way to ensure you will be getting the very best treatment. You can ask about the overall manner of the dentist, their quality of care and whether children are treated well there. Some dentists are set up particularly well to care for children’s teeth and go out of their way to help make the childrens’ check ups a pleasant experience. This is very important as children can often dislike going to the dentist and will throw tantrums when it is time to go. If this sounds like your child then it might be sensible to find a dentist that is renowned for treating children.

Aside from recommendations, looking on the internet will likely throw up a host of choices in your area. By visiting their websites it is possible to get a good idea of which type of dentist you would like to choose. You can always call in to speak to a member of staff too if you would like to learn more before booking an appointment. If you need a dentist lincolnshire or a dentist in Grimsby or the surrounding area, a little research will go a long way. Whether it is invisible braces you need or simply a place to go for an occasional check up, there are plenty of places to choose.
