Question by Sexy_Girlz1989: **********Some Funny JOKE**********?
A girl was a prostitute, but she didn’t want her grandma to know. One day, police raided the brothel where the girl worked and the police had all the prostitute line up outside. Just then, the girl’s grandma came by and saw her granddaughter.

Not wanting her granny to know the truth, the girl said: “I am queuing up for some free oranges, there are handing out today”

“Ooh, that’s nice dear, I’ll think i will line uo and get some too,” said granny . With that she joined the queue.

By this time, a policeman was going down the line to ask for some information. When he got to granny, he got bewildered and asked: “You’re so old, how do you do it?”

“Oh, it’s easy,” replied grandma. “I just take out my dentures and suck them dry”.

Difference Between Implants And Dentures

Dental implants are an ideal treatment option if you are missing one tooth, or several teeth in different areas of your mouth. Dentures are used to replace all or a majority of missing teeth on the top or bottom. Dental implants can also be used to fully secure your dentures so that they do not slip.

Dentures

Dentures can be either complete or partial. Complete dentures cover your entire upper or entire lower jaw. Partials replace one or a few teeth.

Today’s advances in cosmetic dentistry procedures have dramatically improved the functionality and appearance of dentures over the past decade. Dentures today are more natural looking and more comfortable than they once were.

But these false teeth may still feel awkward at first. When you first get your dentures, you may have to make frequent visits to your dentist to make sure they are fitting properly. Also, over time your mouth can change and your dentures may need to be adjusted or replaced. Be sure to let your dentist handle these adjustments.

Keep in mind that talking and eating will feel different with dentures, as they make it more difficult to feel hot and cold foods and liquids. You may also fail to notice things like fish bones in your mouth, so be especially careful.

Dental implants

Dental implants are titanium posts that are fused to your jawbone, which act as the root of your tooth. Once this metal post integrates to your jawbone, it provides a sturdy foundation for tooth replacement.

You can attach a dental crown to an implant, or use the implant to better secure your dentures or partial dentures. Implants appear and function just as you natural teeth, but without the risk of cavities and root canals.

The dental implant procedure is more invasive and includes two different surgeries: one to fix the implant and another to secure the restoration. However, once a dental implant is fastened into your jawbone, it can last a lifetime if properly cared for.

Because they are permanent, dental implants will never slip out of place. They also will never make that embarrassing clicking sound like dentures sometimes do.

Which is best for me?

The decision between dentures and dental implants comes down to personal preference. Dentures are cheaper than dental implants, although some people complain about how they fit, how they feel and the potentially embarrassing clicking noises they can make. However, dentures and partial dentures are removable, so you can take them out to clean your mouth and you do not have to worry about food getting stuck in your restoration that can result in tooth decay and gum disease.

Dental implants are more costly and they are a more involved procedure. They are permanent, so you have to brush and floss carefully around them, to rid your surrounding gum and adjacent teeth of any food particles. You also have to have a sufficient amount of bone mass to hold the implant in place. The tooth roots of the teeth on either side of your empty space must also be straight. If they are crooked, they may get in the way of where the dental implant needs to go. If your roots are crooked, you may need to use orthodontics to straighten them out before the dental implants can be placed.

However, dental implants look, feel and function like your real teeth. This hassle-free option allows you to enjoy fewer restrictions so that you can enjoy an active lifestyle without worrying whether your teeth are going to come loose.

The key to finding affordable dentures in Florida is to avoid buying dental insurance as a solution and focus on joining a discount dental plan instead. The reason for this is because any type of insurance, whether it’s dental, health, auto, homeowners or whatever, is not going to pay for any condition that you already had at the time that you bought the policy. Think about this for a moment and you’ll realize that what I’m telling you is true. Do you honestly believe that you could go into an insurance agency, spend 0.00 and go to the dentist for new dentures? Do you honestly believe that you could go into an insurance agency, have them do a physical walk around of your vehicle, noting the huge dent in the passenger door, and go in there next week and expect them to pay for that damage that was already there? I can promise you that it won’t happen, just like dental insurance won’t cover your dentures either, regardless of if you live in Florida or any other state.

The key to saving big money on dentures in Florida is to join a discount dental plan. Discount plans offer savings when you visit one of the providers within their network of dentists and can actually save you as much as 60% off the cost of new dentures, depending upon where you live. Here’s an example of a discount dental plan at work in Florida.

This example is based on zip code 32210, the Jacksonville, Florida area.

This discount plan has 293 participating providers within a 50 mile radius of zip code 32210. The usual cost of an upper denture in Florida (this is based on national statistics from 2005. Costs may be more or less where you live) is 52.00. Your cost with this discount plan is only 0.00, a savings of 2.00.

The cost of joining this plan is only 9.95 for a family plan or only .95 for an individual plan. Deduct the cost of a family plan (9.95) from the 2.00 that you saved on your upper denture alone and you’re still ahead by 2.05! This is only your first visit too. You and your family can have virtually unlimited savings for the next year.

So if you’re in need of dentures and you live in the state of Florida, there are better ways to get big savings, rather than insurance. Go check out a discount dental plan in your area and start saving on your new dentures today!
