If I wanted to have a celebrities teeth?

Question by Goerge: If I wanted to have a celebrities teeth?
Would I be able to get a casting of them? Some people ask about getting “celebrity dentures” or teeth augmentation. http://famous-relationships.topsynergy.com/Chuck_Norris/Contact.asp has the information to contact his agent who would also be in charge of giving consent to use his photo. The same would apply with any legal copyright issue. Are teeth like Jim Carey’s copyrighted. What about for NATE? It would be like using his face to make make money and promoting myself using his appeal which I think would be some kind of misrepresentation. But what about just parts of of a celebrity like teeth or the likeness on a t-shirt http://famous-relationships.topsynergy.com/Chuck_Norris/Contact.asp would be one way to gain permission. Most celebrity agents/managers/staff are available. What about baby teeth gums for baby formula? Talk to a dentist and get them?

I don’t know how you’d get a cast of a person’s teeth. They probably wouldn’t go for it. Plus, agents of celebraties are very busy and most likely wouldn’t take you seriously or listen to you. If you are making money of the casts then it could be some kind of copyright, though i dont think that’d be the word for it, if the person you got the cast from doesn’t like what you are doing. It is their body after all.

Denture Adhesives – Ideal For Entire Denture Set

It is imperative that you select the right denture adhesives, if you are any known person proposes to buy them somewhere in the near future. There are a number of things you would have to consider regarding purchase of dentures like the type and quality of dentures, details regarding the taste, feel, its working, usage of the dentures. These doubts would anyways get cleared when you visit your dentist. It is advised that you check out and get things clarified so that there is no misunderstanding in the future. It also gives you an idea on what to expect from the dentist and his treatment.

When you browse the net, you can get some information on denture adhesives which would quench your doubts for the time being. First and foremost, you need to decide whether you really need to use denture adhesives considering you are going to get an entire denture set. The saliva of the mouth keeps the dentures intact. Fitting of dentures require dexterity of hands and a professional and expert dentist would ensure that the dentures fit perfectly so that it does not keep moving unnecessarily or does not become loose. As age progresses, there would be a change in the shape of the gums and it is then that denture adhesives would become necessary as the dentures would not fit perfectly and it would either slip or become loose.

For individuals who have a full denture set, denture adhesives may not be necessary. But people going in for partial dentures would be required to use these adhesives, so that the dentures fit perfectly. Many people also use them since it lends a secured feel.

If you have a new set of teeth, then it is advised that you wear your dentures without the adhesives. This way you would get an idea of how the fit is, how comfortable you feel while wearing them. If you experience discomfort when wearing them even after applying dental adhesives, then it is better to get in touch with a dentist and explain the problem. If they are loose or are moving when chewing or eating, it means they were not made as per your jaw size. Ill fitting dentures could result in swelling, soreness or pain in the jaws. Excessive use of denture adhesives could prove harmful to the body if swallowed unknowingly. Moreover, there are chances of an infection, hence it is advised that you brush and rinse your mouth thoroughly after using denture adhesives.

People who suffer from parched mouth would definitely have to use dental adhesives as against others because the saliva helps in keeping the dentures intact. Individuals going in for partial dentures would have to compulsorily use dental adhesives and they could choose from a wide variety of flavors.

Missing teeth can not only be an embarrassment, they can be physically harmful to your health.  Dentistry provides a solution with dentures, sets of artificial teeth made to fit into your gaps.

Tooth loss can occur due to any number of forces – decay, injury or disease.  A sports event could knock a tooth out.  Intense decay can reach into a tooth’s root, rotting it from the inside out, until it dislodges.  Periodontal disease, or gum disease, also causes loss of teeth in some instances.

A missing tooth can cause facial sagging, jaw discomfort and increased decay in surrounding teeth.  Filling the gaps not only provides you with a beautiful smile through cosmetic dentistry, but increases your oral health through general dentistry.

For an entirely missing set of teeth, the appropriate tool is called “complete dentures.” “Partial dentures,” on the other hand, apply to just a few missing teeth.

Many dentists practice restorative dentistry.  Although dentures provide one option, depending upon your individual dental situation, bridges or implants may be preferable to filling the gaps in your smile.  Bridges secure a crown in the place of the gap by bonding it to the neighboring teeth, creating a sort of bridge to fill the space.  For an implant, your Austin area dentist actually embeds a titanium metal screw into your jawbone which acts as a root, later placing a crown on top to act as the new tooth.

Dentures can cost hundreds to thousands of dollars, depending upon how many teeth are missing, which dentist you use and which materials you choose.

Hollywood Celebrities Opt for Cosmetic Dentistry

Hollywood A-Lister’s Still Need a Little Help from Their Neighborhood Cosmetic Dentists

With so much film, media, and magazine exposure these days, Hollywood celebrities are zero-ing in on making every aspect of their physical exterior an image of perfection. Their smiles are certainly no exception!

Advances in technology over the past years have allowed dentists to create flawless grins for people, while still looking and feeling natural. These celebrity smiles can range from a few thousand dollars for a minor adjustment, to the extreme makeover cases of ,000 or more for their toothy treasures.

And while some celebrities use their signature snaggle-teeth to their advantage, in most cases their new cosmetic dental work is a vast improvement as they jolt into super stardom. Here are a few examples of some celebrities that had smile makeovers:

(1) Elliot Yamin

Smile Makeover Method: Porcelain Veneers

This past American Idol contestant was once known for two things. An amazing voice, and terrible teeth. Now, with the help of cosmetic dentistry and over ,000 in porcelain veneers, his career has soared into an oblivion of success. Now, when we see him in his videos and performances, his fabulous voice is accompanied by a celebrity smile.

(2) Miley Cyrus

Smile Makeover Method: Porcelain Veneers

This “Hannah Montana” superstar is idolized by kids and their parents alike. She is considered the next generation of media moguls that is taking our world by storm. Once she began gaining popularity in her show and concerts, she opted to make the switch to a more sightly smile. She is believed to have gotten veneers and a surgery to elongate the teeth and fix the “gummy smile” look.

(3) George Clooney

Smile Makeover Method: Porcelain Veneers, Crowns, and Crown Lengthening

This self-proclaimed lifelong bachelor once made a joke about getting surgery done on his eyes to make him look younger. It seems like his teeth were a more immediate concern for both aesthetic and physical reasons. As quoted by Dr. Abenaim (starmagazine.com), he believes that Clooney was a tooth grinder which was one cause for the actor to seek a cosmetic change. Aside from the veneers, the Dr. also suggests that Clooney had crown lengthening surgery, a surgical procedure done that brings the gumline up to expose more teeth. This work is estimated at anywhere from ,000-35,000. Now we love you even more Georgie!

(4) Keith Urban

Smile Makeover Method: Porcelain Veneers

Before his days of super stardom and being the arm candy for gorgeous wife Nicole Kidman, Keith Urban’s teeth were far from perfect. Doctor’s believe that Urban had porcelain veneers placed over his choppers to create a far more pleasing effect. He had what dentist’s refer to a diastema, or large space between his teeth. While the veneers have improved his look, his dentist did a good job creating a natural look and left a little signature gap in the front.

(5) Katherine Heigl

Smile Makeover Method: Invisalign®

When it came to looking beautiful for her on screen wedding in 27 Dresses, Katherine Heigl didn’t need to do much. For her own wedding, Heigl complained that she did not want to wed with crooked teeth. She decided to opt for Invisalign, a series of clear, removable aligners that are used as an alternative to traditional metal braces. As of April 2008, 730,000 patients have completed, or are currently in Invisalign treatment.
